Michael earned his first Michelin star in 2022, a year after launching Soseki Modern Omakase in Orlando, FL. Soseki, a 10 seat multi-course tasting menu, utilizes the best fish from around the world while exploring the amazing bounty Central Florida has to offer. In 2023 Michael opened up Sushi Saint Orlando's first Temaki Handroll sushi bar in Downtown and will be opening Bar Kada a 30 seat Sake Bar featuring Soseki's Beverage Director and 2023 Michelin Sommelier of the year Benjamin Coutts.
The newest venture will be as the culinary partner for 4Roots Farm in Orlando, FL. A regenerative, sustainable farm campus that will feature multiple food outlets curated by Chef Michael.
Michael is also featured on the world's first sushi focused realty chef competition Morimoto's Sushi Masters and a co-host for Diaries of a Master Sushi Chef, a youtube channel with 2M+ subscribers.
Chef Mike now serves as a culinary consultant on multi level projects of various operations from omakases, to multi-unit projects. Most recently Michael has held the position for culinary director for a multi-unit private club, consulted on a major South Beach destination roof top on a 5 star hotel. Let's connect here.
